Bob Wagner’s 28th Annual Wooden Bat Classic will take place at historic Terry Park in Fort Myers, Florida Sunday, January 21 through Saturday, January 27, 2024.  We are looking forward to another great week played by the "boys of summer" in the dead of winter in one of Florida’s premier year-round vacation destinations.

The Cy Young division will begin play on Sunday, January 21st and the Red Oldham divisions will begin play on Monday, January 22nd.  The Cy Young Division and Red Oldham Division will play 7-inning games. The final schedule is determined based on the number of teams playing in the tournament. The championship game for the Cy Young division is Friday, January 26th and Red Oldham championship games will be played on Saturday, January 27th.

Official Wooden Bat hotel partners are found using the Hotel Info button on the menu bar.  In recent years, there has been at least 30 different hotels found in a variety of locations, such as the beach, airport, shopping and urban areas.

Laura Heron and her company Home Run Concessions, who has been part of the WBC family for over 10 years, will have concessions available during the week. Brianna Belmont is the athletic trainer on site for the tournament and Katherine Harbord-Elkins is our sports massage therapist.

In conclusion, Bob Wagner’s Wooden Bat Classic’s official charity, Tri-County Challenger Baseball, is a wonderful organization geared towards making baseball available to those children and adults who are mentally and physically challenged.  The Wooden Bat Classic is proud to be Challenger Baseball’s primary contributor of funds to cover much-needed equipment, uniforms, insurance, awards and so much more.  Last January our WBC teams donated over $7,000 to Challenger!! Oustanding!!!
